Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, MD, famous for bringing hospice to the United States, wrote many books about dying, her last being The Wheel of Life, A Memoir of Living and Dying. In it she describes a ground-breaking approach she took to educating medical students about dying. Some hated her for it, but most packed her lecture halls to standing room only. Check out this video to get a glimpse of her amazing method for getting to the truly important topics to discuss with your dying patients. And it has nothing to do with the size of their liver.
