When Wendy from New Zealand asked me last week how to access the free trainings I have created, I realized that if Wendy did not know how to access those trainings, many of you may not know either.  So…I am going to share all of the free trainings with you over the coming weeks.

Today’s video is about Alzheimer’s disease.  This interview is with Dr. Edward Shaw, MD, MA, founder and Director of the Memory Counseling Program at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC.  Dr. Shaw shares his personal story about losing the love of his life, his wife Rebecca, to Alzheimer’s disease after a 9-year battle.  His work led him to coauthor a fabulous book, Keeping Love Alive As Memories Fade – The 5 Love Languages and the Alzheimer’s Journey.  One of Dr. Shaw’s coauthors is Gary Chapman, PhD and author of the book, The 5 Love Languages: The Secret to Love That Lasts, which has sold more than 11 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 50 languages.

Enjoy this special interview with Dr. Shaw and learn about ways you can find support for, or offer support to, those who are dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.
