This week’s training features an interview with Denise Brown, an amazing woman who is passionate about helping support caregivers. Denise created the website, www.caregiving.com in 1996 which is packed with ways caregivers can learn, connect and support each other. Denise has also written eight books on caregiving, and organizes a Twitter chat (#carechat) every Tuesday at 1pm. At the time of this interview, Denise was a caregiver for both of her parents who are in their 80’s and living independently. You will hear the lessons her parents taught her about caregiving.
